Broadband before you move: check the network first
On a new development, the network comes before the provider.
Before you choose a broadband provider for a new home, find out which network reaches your plot. New developments may initially offer a different choice of providers from the surrounding street.
Ask the sales office which network serves the property, then check availability with the providers that use it. Confirm when the connection can be activated and whether an installation visit is needed. If the sales office cannot confirm the arrangements, ask the builder in writing before moving day.
